For more than two decades I have made things. Films, television, podcasts, brands, and the occasional beautiful mess.
People kept telling me to niche down. Pick one thing. Build one thing. I tried. It never took.
Turns out I am a multipotentialite.
That is a generous word for someone with a lot of interests, talents, skills, and education, and the stubbornness to chase all of them. On any given day I might be a filmmaker, producer, cinematographer, photographer, videographer, writer, artist, publisher, video DJ, coachsultant, gamer, and an unrepentant chocoholic.
The formal part is a BFA from Baylor University and a JD from the University of Houston Law Center. The rest I taught myself, stacks of books and lots of classes, online courses, webinars, workshops and conferences. I am a certified scuba diver and a licensed Part 107 drone pilot. A pilot’s license is next on the list.
